Position Purpose

n

As part of our digital transformation, we are migrating legacy systems (e.g., TIBCO BW 5.x ) to up-to-date, scalable architecture like Apache Camel to enhance performance & resilience.

n

Responsibilities

n

n

Direct Responsibilities

n

n
- Application designing / development / testing / support / enhancements / bug fixing.
n
- Interact with functional and technical representatives of project teams in order to understand business functionalities, technical modules, integration mechanism and data sources.
n
- Prepare test plans and conduct Unit, Integration, Regression, Performance and Functional Testing using automated testing frameworks.
n
- Contribute to the technical designing phase and document the design with UML diagrams and models.



Create prototype for proof of concept and business requirements validations.
n
- Ensure that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of software development lifecycle and day-to-day development work.
n
- Estimate efforts, schedule for various modules, and meet deadlines.
n
- Technical and Release Documentation
n
- Deployment of system components - Application, Shell Scripts and Databases.
n
- Acquire skills in relevant technologies and take up higher responsibilities
n
- To participate in out-of-hours / daytime support as required
n
- To ensure that the application is of good quality, ensure any issues are fixed on priority.
n
- To work with teams to help solve complex technical problems
n
- Work towards initiatives to improve processes and delivery efficiency
n
- Contribute towards recruitment efforts - both for the team as well as for the organization
n
- Contribute towards innovation; suggest new technical practices for improvement of efficiency.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

n

Mandatory Technical Skills:

n

n
- Strong knowledge of Apache Camel, its architecture, components,



and Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs).
n
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high‑performance, scalable, and secure back‑end services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel.
n
- Leverage Apache Camel to integrate various systems, databases, third‑party APIs, and services, ensuring smooth data flow and communication across platforms.
n
- Utilize Apache Camel for message routing, transformation, and integration between disparate applications.
n
- Basics of Tibco Business Works 5.x
n
- Migration of Tibco business works process to Apache Camel.
n
- Basic Knowledge on Kafka /NATS.
n
- Good knowledge in RDBMS / SQL.
n
- Basic Knowledge on Linux environment (basic commands, shell scripting, etc.), Code build & versioning tools like GIT, Jenkin.
n
- Ability & willingness to learn & work on diverse technologies (languages, frameworks, and tools)
n
- Thorough understanding of complete Software Development Lifecycle
n
- Experience in technical analysis, designing and modeling n-tier applications with multiple integrations using object oriented and SOA approaches.
n
- Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and inclination to constantly upgrade on new technologies and frameworks.
n
- Good communication and co-ordination skills.
