? Hiring: IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer – Sophos / Intune | Chennai | Onsite

We are looking for a highly hands-on IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to independently manage the complete IT environment for a growing delivery center in Chennai.

? Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Own end-to-end administration of Sophos Firewall XG/XGS, including firewall policies, site-to-site & remote-access VPN, NAT/routing, IPS, web/application filtering, and firmware upgrades.
n
- Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, access points, structured cabling, IP addressing, VLANs, and ISP/leased-line coordination.
n
- Administer Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
n
- Manage device enrollment, compliance policies, Conditional Access, application deployment, and endpoint licensing.
n
- Provide day-to-day IT/Desktop/User Support for 190+ FTEs.
n
- Manage Active Directory / Azure AD provisioning, deprovisioning, permissions, and user access.
n
- Lead IT security compliance and respond to client audits and CAPA requirements.
n
- Maintain firewall hardening, access controls, patching, logging, and monitoring.
n
- Coordinate with CCTV and physical security vendors for network-dependent systems.
n
- Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, SOPs, and technical runbooks.
n
- Manage local IT/network vendors and ISPs.
n
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity readiness.
n
- Report IT health, incidents,



and security/compliance status to stakeholders.

✅ Must-Have Requirements

n

n
- Proven hands-on production experience with Sophos Firewall XG/XGS – MANDATORY
n
- Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, Routing & Switching, VPN, DNS/DHCP
n
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
n
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, licensing, security groups, and Conditional Access
n
- Experience with Active Directory / Azure AD
n
- Strong troubleshooting across network, endpoint, and application environments
n
- Ability to work independently with minimal onsite IT support
n
- Experience in a BPO / delivery-center environment
n
- Exposure to client-driven security and compliance audits
n
- Strong English communication skills
n

- Sophos Certified Administrator / Engineer
n
- CCNA
n
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
n
- Greenfield IT infrastructure setup experience
n
- SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar audit experience
n
- CCTV/physical security systems integration experience
n

⚠️ Important: Hands-on Sophos XG/XGS production administration is a hard requirement. Candidates with only general firewall experience will not be considered.
