Role Overview

We are looking for a Qualtrics Architect with strong experience in designing, configuring, and scaling enterprise-grade Employee Experience (Engage) and Customer Experience Analytics (XM Discover) solutions. The ideal candidate will own end-to-end solution architecture, translating business requirements into scalable Qualtrics configurations, integrations, and data models, while providing technical leadership across implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and design end-to-end Qualtrics solutions across XM Discover (Connectors, Designer, Studio) and Engage (employee engagement, pulse, and lifecycle surveys).
- Define data architecture, integration patterns, and taxonomy strategy for unstructured feedback data ingested through XM Discover Connectors (calls, chats, emails, surveys, social media, reviews).
- Design and oversee category models, sentiment tuning, custom lexicons, intelligent entities, and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) enrichments in XM Discover Designer.
- Architect Studio dashboards, custom metrics (Top Box, Bottom Box, Satisfaction, Custom Math), alerts, and role-based access for content creators and consumers.
- Design employee engagement and pulse survey frameworks in Engage, including 290+ science-backed question libraries, custom queries, benchmarking, and driver analysis.
- Define integration architecture with third-party systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce, HRIS, and CRM platforms using APIs, SSO, and SFTP.
- Establish data governance, security controls, and taxonomy consistency standards across the enterprise Qualtrics ecosystem.




- Lead technical design reviews, provide architectural guidance to consultants/developers, and troubleshoot complex implementation and performance issues.
- Evaluate and recommend AI-driven capabilities (conversational AI, predictive analytics, agentic workflows) to enhance action-planning and manager enablement.
- Partner with business stakeholders, HR, and CX leaders to align platform architecture with organizational XM strategy.
- Own technical documentation, best-practice standards, and mentor junior consultants on Qualtrics architecture principles.
- Communicate effectively with technical platform owners and business stakeholders across time zones (remote workplace).

Required Skills

- 10+ years of overall experience with a strong focus on Qualtrics XM Discover and Engage implementations.
- Deep expertise in XM Discover components: Connectors, Designer (category models, sentiment, classification), and Studio (dashboards, widgets, custom metrics, alerts).
- Strong understanding of Engage/Employee Experience program design: pulse surveys, lifecycle surveys, engagement drivers, and EX benchmarking.
- Proven experience architecting integrations via REST APIs, SSO, and data pipelines between Qualtrics and enterprise systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce, HRIS).
- Solid grounding in NLU/text analytics concepts (topic, intent, emotion, sentiment, effort scoring).
- Experience with data governance, security, and access-control design in enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to lead architecture discussions independently with minimal oversight.
- Qualtrics Architect/Designer certification preferred.
