Role & responsibilities

Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, rate analysis, and commercial proposals for EPC civil projects, ensuring competitive pricing and proper cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis for EPC civil works.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
Estimate material, labour, equipment, subcontractor, transportation, and other project costs.
Prepare technical and commercial offers for EPC tenders.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
Prepare comparative statements and negotiate rates to achieve cost-effective pricing.
Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Project, Planning, and Site teams for accurate costing.
Maintain updated material and labour rate databases.
Analyze project costs and support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Identify cost variations, risks,



and opportunities for cost optimization.
Prepare cost sheets, MIS reports, and tender/commercial documentation.
Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications, client requirements, and company standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
2 to 5 years of experience in civil estimation/costing, preferably in EPC/infrastructure projects.
Solid knowledge of BOQ, quantity surveying, rate analysis, and tender estimation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
Valuable analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
