/n Reporting to the Discipline Civil Head, The Structural Engineer will support the application & technology development of Substation engineering practices related to Equipment Supporting Structures, Steel Structures, Foundations, Wind Pile/Raft Foundations etc. /n Roles & Responsibilities:
/n /n
Proficiency in Design of Steel & Concrete Structure like MCR, HT Switchgear Room Building, Steel Tower & equipment support steel structures etc.

/n
Proficiency in design of shallow foundations including design of Equipment foundations like Power Transformer, CT, CVT, Isolator, Tower Foundation etc.

/n
Develops optimized design for soil foundation systems like Power Transformer Foundation, Steel & Concrete Structures in conformity with quality standards requirements.

/n
Interface with other Project Specialists and Designers and plan, co-ordinate, execute and control the geotechnical engineering activities for a project or a proposal in accordance with project requirements.

/n
Knowledge of Site grading drawings, road & paving layouts, drainage layouts etc.

/n




Initiate and manage studies with external Contractors and Consultants. Prepares and follow-up Subcontracts associated to the design of Substation consultant/Vendors

/n
Knowledge of Solar PV area will be an added advantage.

/n /n Education /n /n
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering - B. Tech/B.E

/n
Must have 8 - 10 years of experience in design of substation & power sector

/n /n Essential Criteria:
/n Significant experience in Substation engineering /n /n
Must have worked in Staad Software in Analysis & Design

/n
Specialist Engineer in Engineering Design & Detailing of Civil & Structural works of Substation Projects.

/n
Excellent communication and networking skills

/n
Versatile and adaptable approach to work

/n /n Desirable Criteria /n /n
Substation, Solar & Wind experience of Civil & Structural Design, site preparation and ground treatment technologies, and foundation design.
