We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Commis Chef – Continental to assist in preparing and presenting high-quality continental dishes. The role supports the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily operations while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of continental dishes (Italian, French, European cuisine).
Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and plating guidelines.
Prepare mise en place and support service operations.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation.
Follow food safety, FSSAI, and kitchen SOP standards.
Assist in inventory handling and proper storage of ingredients.
Support senior chefs during peak service hours.
Minimize wastage and maintain quality consistency.
Learn and adapt to current menu items and techniques.
Required Qualifications
Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
0–2 years of experience as a Commis Chef (freshers can apply).
Basic knowledge of continental cooking techniques.
Willingness to learn and work in a quick-paced kitchen environment.
Ability to work in shifts.
Preferred Skills
Experience in café, QSR, cloud kitchen, or hotel kitchens.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Passion for cooking and attention to detail.
Ability to handle pressure during busy hours.
Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: ₹18,953.16 - ₹25,832.07 per month
