Job Summary:

We are looking for a Staff or Sr. Staff Engineer for our team, which focuses on creating storage solutions for the most data-intensive workloads. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, implementing, and shipping software using modern development tooling and practices.

n

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to: ·

n

- Software design and development for new features and maintenance of existing features.
n
- Analysis of bug reports and development of software fixes on multiple platforms.
n
- Work with the Engineering manager and a geographically distributed team to understand product requirements and features.
n
- Work on Heavy execution, design + delivery
n
- Contribute to and validate product documentation.
n
- Assist with performance tuning of features for specific environments and use-cases
n

n

Qualifications:

n

n




- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree/experience.
n
- Software development experience in Linux environments with Rust, Bash scripting.
n
- Candidates currently working on C or C++ programming and willing to work on RUST programming can also apply.
n
- Total experience between 10 to 20years is preferred.
n
- Linux experience is preferred
n
- Strong team player with good communication skills and should be self-starter.
n
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
n
- Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Gerrit, Git, and Github preferred.
n
- Prior experience working with enterprise-class or HPC storage systems and/or distributed systems a bonus
