Application Electrical Hardware Engineer Key responsibilities and authorities:
Create electrical schematics based on core circuit blocks
Maintain & own electrical schematic & components for assigned programs
Create/maintain/modify Circuit Analysis and Design Documents
Create/maintain/modify Circuit Test Plans, monitor testing activity and review test results
Conduct ECU failure analysis to identify root cause using standard lab equipment and provide recommendations for corrective actions
Review PCB layout and provide recommendation to assure integrity of electrical signals on the circuit Card Assembly
Lead schematic review activities for assigned programs
Interface with other functional groups to ensure integrity and accuracy of the design:

Accurate and tail oriented Acquired Technical Skills:
Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Design and Manufacturing Processes
Printed Circuit Card (PCB) Design, Materials and Manufacturing Processes (via, layers, laminate, etc.
Circuit Design (Schematic)
Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Layout design (eCAD)
Electronic Components (Resistor, Capacitors, Inductors, FETs, etc) Qualification Required (Education – Experience – Skills) Master of Science or bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering. Solid skills in problem solving like Six Sigma High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Ability to evaluate various technology alternatives to achieve project goals, especially design - process trade offs Experience in design, manufacturing process and controls of mechanical gears Robust understanding of mechanical systems, components, and applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and software issues.
