Role : Tech Lead / Senior Developer – Data & Analytics

Roles & Responsibilities

n

n
- Act as Team Lead / Junior Architect, guiding a team of developers through design decisions, code reviews, and best practices
n
- Own end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics solutions for clients, from design through implementation and deployment
n
- Translate business requirements into scalable, well-architected technical solutions
n
- Support pre-sales activities including solution design inputs, effort estimation, and proposal creation
n
- Conduct customer demos, walkthroughs, and technical presentations, acting as a technical point of contact during client discussions
n
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and quality standards across projects
n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, including data analysts, data scientists, and business teams
n
- Stay current with emerging tools and patterns in the data platform space and evaluate their applicability to client problems
n

Skills Required

n

Technical Skills – Must Have

n

n
- Microsoft Fabric (Data Engineering), or Power BI – semantic modelling, DAX, report/dashboard development
n
- Microsoft Purview – data cataloguing, governance, and lineage tracking
n
- SQL and data modelling – dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schema design
n




- ETL/ELT design and development using tools such as Azure Data Factory
n
- Solution and architecture design skills, with the ability to build reusable accelerators, PoVs, and reference solutions
n
- At least 1 domain of prior project/client experience: BFSI, Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS), Retail, Manufacturing, or IT
n

Technical Skills – Nice to Have

n

n
- Azure Databricks – Spark-based data engineering and processing
n
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) and Azure SQL Database for data storage
n
- Python or another programming language for data engineering tasks
n
- Azure DevOps – CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
n
- Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
n
- Certifications in Azure Data Engineering, Power BI, or Microsoft Fabric
n

Functional & Leadership Skills

n

n
- Prior experience leading a small team or mentoring junior developers (Team Lead / Junior Architect exposure)
n
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills — comfortable engaging both technical and business stakeholders
n
- Experience supporting pre-sales cycles: solutioning, estimations, and proposal creation
n
- Ability to independently run a customer demo or technical conversation with confidence
n
- Strong problem-solving ability in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
n
- Prior consulting, systems integrator, or qualified services experience is a plus
n
