Role & responsibilities
Robust knowledge of CNC Wire-Cut EDM operation and setup.
Knowledge of Wire-Cut EDM programming and program loading.
Understanding of X-Y-U-V axis movement and taper cutting.
Knowledge of rough cut and skim/finish cut operations.
Ability to understand and set machine offsets and compensation.
Knowledge of workpiece alignment and datum setting.
Understanding of EDM machining parameters and flushing requirements.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensional tolerances.
Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
Basic knowledge of GD&T; will be an advantage.
Basic CNC troubleshooting knowledge.
