Job Title: GeM Admin / Computer Operator

Role Summary

We are hiring a GeM-focused Admin / Computer Operator responsible for handling end-to-end GeM operations, tender documentation, order processing, and compliance tracking. This is a hands-on execution role requiring prior experience on the GeM portal.

Key Responsibilities

GeM Portal Operations (Core Responsibility)
Manage daily operations on the GeM portal
Upload and maintain product listings, specifications, pricing
Prepare and submit bids / tenders / BOQs
Track bid status, corrigendums, clarifications, and results
Handle order acceptance, invoicing, delivery updates, and payments on GeM
Coordinate inspection, dispatch, and GRN closure
Maintain records of won, lost, and ongoing bids

Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and organize supporting documents for bids and orders
Maintain digital records for:
Certifications (QAE, WP, IBR, ISO, etc.)
Test reports and inspection documents
Past performance and order completion proofs
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely uploads

Admin & Data Management




Maintain trackers in Excel / Google Sheets:
Bid tracker
Order & dispatch tracker
Payment status tracker
Prepare invoices, delivery challans, and internal reports
Coordinate with factory, inspection agencies, and buyers
Handle email communication and follow-ups

Mandatory Requirements
Prior hands-on experience working on GeM portal
Robust working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
Comfortable with PDF handling, scanning, uploads, and documentation
Understanding of tender / government procurement workflows
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Experience in manufacturing / engineering company
Exposure to marine or industrial products
Experience coordinating QAE / inspection agencies
Familiarity with government buyer processes
