Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead and drive enterprise-scale data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and implementing up-to-date data platforms, data warehouses, and data lakes using AWS technologies. This role requires hands-on technical expertise along with leadership capabilities to manage end-to-end data programs, ensure data governance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data engineering and data management projects.
n
- Design and build scalable data warehouses and data lake solutions on AWS.
n
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, Apache Airflow, and SQL.
n
- Implement and maintain metadata management and data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
n
- Build and optimize big data processing pipelines for high-volume and complex datasets.
n




- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
n
- Drive the overall data program, ensuring timely delivery, technical excellence, and adherence to best practices.
n
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across the data engineering team.
n

Required Skills

- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Management.
n
- Strong expertise in Data Warehousing and Data Lake architecture.
n
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
n
- Strong experience with Apache Airflow, PySpark, and SQL.
n
- Experience with Metadata Management tools and practices.
n
- Strong background in Big Data technologies and enterprise-scale implementations.
n
- Mandatory experience in Data Governance frameworks and best practices.
n
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
n
- Proven ability to lead enterprise data initiatives and drive cross-functional collaboration.
