Role Description The Head of Department at Duke Pipes is a full-time, on-site role based in Gujarat, India. This role is responsible for leading and managing departmental operations, including planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring to meet production and quality targets. The Head of Department will oversee team leaders and staff, set clear objectives, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a safe, cooperative, and high-performing work environment.

Daily tasks include coordinating with senior management, aligning departmental goals with company strategy, reviewing process efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.



The role also involves maintaining compliance with company policies and relevant standards, preparing reports, and representing the department in cross-functional meetings.

Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Strong operational and process management abilities, with experience in production planning, workflow optimization, and quality assurance.
Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in pipes, metals, or related sectors.
