We are looking for an experienced Color Stone Grader to evaluate and grade colored gemstones based on quality, authenticity and established grading standards.

Requirements

? Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate color, hue, tone, saturation, clarity, cut, polish, symmetry and transparency
Identify gemstones such as Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst, Topaz, Tourmaline, Garnet, Tanzanite and Aquamarine
Detect inclusions, fractures, treatments and quality characteristics
Identify signs of heat treatment, filling, dyeing, irradiation and diffusion
Examine gemstones using appropriate lighting and magnification
Sort and categorize stones based on quality, size,



color and commercial value
Maintain accurate grading records and documentation
Coordinate with Production, QC, Purchase and Sales teams
Ensure consistent grading as per company standards
Handle gemstones carefully and follow security procedures

? Required Skills:
Robust knowledge of colored gemstones and their characteristics
Experience in gemstone grading/sorting
Excellent color differentiation and visual observation skills
Knowledge of treatments, imitations and synthetics
Familiarity with loupe, microscope, refractometer, polariscope and dichroscope is an advantage
Solid attention to detail and accuracy
