Role Overview

n

We are looking for a Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot and distributed applications to join the Middle Office TC & Vista Infrastructure squad.

n

The candidate will work on large-scale distributed systems, application modernization and technical enhancements, with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance and observability.

n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop and maintain large-scale distributed, multi-application systems.
n
- Work on modernization initiatives using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.3+, Gradle, MongoDB and Kafka.
n
- Design, develop and test functional and non-functional enhancements.
n
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving inter-process communication, threading, memory management, messaging, databases, caching and data enrichment.
n
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
n
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.
n
- Contribute to Agile design discussions and department-level modernization initiatives.
n




- Ensure applications meet required performance, uptime, scalability and security standards.
n
- Work with evolving business and regulatory requirements.
n
- Contribute to re-engineering and modernization of large-scale applications.
n

? Mandatory Requirements

n

n
- 5–7 years of relevant software development experience.
n
- Strong hands-on Java development experience.
n
- Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
n
- Good experience with Gradle or equivalent build tools.
n
- Experience with at least one of DB2, Sybase or MongoDB.
n
- Strong SQL knowledge.
n
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or IBM MQ.
n
- Experience working on Linux/Unix environments.
n
- Good knowledge of Shell scripting.
n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
- Good communication skills and ability to work with large global teams.
n
- Immediate joiner.
n
- Willingness to work 3 days from Goregaon office.
n
- Candidates should be comfortable working on large-scale applications and distributed systems.
