Senior Embedded Software Engineer | Bengaluru, India

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Embedded Software Engineer with robust experience in embedded software and firmware development.

n

What You'll Do

n

n
- Design and implement real-time applications on ARM processors, interfacing with multiple sensors using C/C++
n
- Participate in software processes including requirements and design documentation, test-plan generation and execution, peer design and code reviews, process feedback and improvements
n
- Debug complex issues arising during product development
n

n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- 5+ years of experience developing C/C++ multithreaded applications, ideally for Embedded Linux targeting multiple ARM cores
n
- Experience in low-level driver development in embedded systems
n
- Experience developing firmware for hardware on Embedded Linux
n
- Experience with one or more of the following: Microcontrollers, SoCs, device drivers, hardware bring-up, power management, performance optimization, hardware/software integration and RTOS
n




- Experience with processor architecture
n
- Experience working with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI and UART
n
- Knowledge of electronics principles, including reading schematics and using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and other test equipment
n
- Experience in performance tuning, debugging tools, testing and release management
n

Nice to Have

n

n
- Experience with high-speed interfaces such as ADC, MIPI and PCIe
n
- Experience with Xilinx, Zynq SoC family or equivalent
n
- Experience debugging FPGA hardware using lab equipment
n
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Shell
n
- Ability to analyze datasets using Python, MATLAB or equivalent tools to identify issues and improve core technology
n
- Experience in profiling and benchmarking
n

What We're Particularly Looking For

n

Candidates with strong hands-on experience working close to the hardware, particularly across Embedded C/C++, Embedded Linux, firmware, device drivers, ARM platforms, RTOS, hardware bring-up and low-level debugging.
