What We Do

Lucidity is a company that provides an automated NoOps disk auto-scaler for cloud storage across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It addresses over-provisioned block storage by dynamically scaling capacity, increasing disk utilization to around 80% from 25–35%. This results in cost reductions of up to 70% for businesses. About the Role

We're looking for a Solutions Architect who can operate as the single technical owner for our most complex,



high-value enterprise accounts - someone who needs minimal direction to take a customer from technical evaluation through large-scale production rollout. This is not a role for someone who executes a playbook; it's for someone who can build the playbook, defend it in front of a customer's CTO, and adapt it on the fly when the environment doesn't cooperate.

You'll be the senior-most technical voice in the room for enterprise accounts - trusted to make architectural calls independently, to push back on both customers and internal teams when the easy answer isn't the right one, and to represent Lucidity credibly to VP- and C-level technical stakeholders.

- Independently own end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for Lucidity's largest and most complex enterprise engagements, across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments - with minimal oversight from leadership.
- Act as the primary technical decision-maker for your accounts: designing scalable, secure, production-grade deployments and de-risking rollouts for the world's largest enterprises without needing hand-holding.
- Lead technical discovery and solutioning conversations directly with senior customer stakeholders (VP Engineering, CTO, Head of Infrastructure), translating business and operational challenges into concrete technical architecture and a credible path to value.
- Serve as a trusted advisor - not just answering "how do I deploy this," but shaping how large enterprises think about cloud storage cost, resilience, and operational efficiency as part of their broader cloud strategy.
- Own customer relationships end-to-end for your book of accounts: driving time-to-value, managing technical risk, and being personally accountable for CSAT and renewal health.
- Anticipate and resolve escalations before they become critical - you're the person other team members loop in when a deployment gets hard, not the person who escalates upward.
- Mentor and technically guide junior Solutions Engineers/Consultants,



review their architecture decisions, and help raise the technical bar of the broader post-sales team.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering, feeding back field insights from the most demanding customers to influence roadmap and product hardening.
- Represent Lucidity externally - presenting at events, running enterprise workshops, and contributing to whitepapers/blogs that establish technical thought leadership.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to close out critical technical milestones.

Must Haves

- 8–12 years of professional experience architecting and operating solutions on cloud infrastructure, with a track record of owning complex technical engagements independently, start to finish.
- Deep, hands-on expertise across AWS and Azure (GCP a plus) - compute, storage, networking, security, IAM, and automation/IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience as a senior technical lead in a post-sales, professional services, or solutions consulting capacity for enterprise/Fortune 500 customers.
- Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy - comfortable owning ambiguous, high-stakes technical problems without a playbook, and making the call.
- Strong executive presence - able to run a room with CTOs and VP Engineering stakeholders and hold the technical narrative under pressure.
- Working experience across Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience mentoring or technically leading other engineers/architects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing technical documentation, whitepapers, or presenting at events.
- Strong account and project management skills - able to run multiple complex, concurrent enterprise engagements.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites/locations as necessary.
- Public cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in the storage domain is a strong plus.
