Job Description:

Role: Salesforce Commerce cloud Tech lead/Developer

n

Skill: Salesforce Commerce cloud Tech lead/Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Tech Lead / Developer with solid expertise in B2C Commerce Cloud development, architecture, integrations, and eCommerce implementations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SFRA, SiteGenesis, OCAPI, SCAPI, cartridges, and third-party system integrations while leading development teams and delivering scalable eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions.
n
- Lead technical design discussions and provide architecture recommendations.
n
- Develop and customize SFCC storefronts using SFRA and SiteGenesis.
n
- Build reusable cartridges and custom business functionalities.
n
- Implement integrations with payment gateways, OMS, ERP, CRM, and third-party applications.
n
- Develop and consume APIs using OCAPI, SCAPI, REST,



and SOAP services.
n
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
n
- Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
n
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
n
- Support production deployments, bug fixes, and incident resolution.
n
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
n

n

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce).
n
- Expertise in:
n
- SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture)
n
- Site Genesis
n
- ISML Templates
n
- Controllers and Pipelines
n
- Business Manager
n
- Cartridges Development
n
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, and jQuery.
n
- Experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, REST APIs, and web services.
n
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce workflows, checkout processes, promotions, and catalog management.
n
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
n
- Understanding of performance optimization and caching mechanisms.
n
- Experience with payment gateway integrations such as Adyen, PayPal, Stripe, or CyberSource.
n

Tech Lead Responsibilities

- Lead offshore/onshore development teams.
n
- Review technical designs and ensure adherence to SFCC best practices.
n
- Estimate effort, allocate tasks, and track project delivery.
n
- Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.
n
- Drive solution architecture and integration planning.
n
- Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification.
n
- Experience with Salesforce Order Management (OMS).
n
- Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration.

- Knowledge of PWA Kit and Headless Commerce architecture.
n
- Experience with MuleSoft or middleware integrations.
n
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
