We are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer with 5–7 years of experience to join our engineering team and work on high-performance software for Embedded Linux and distributed systems.

n

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in modern C++ (C++20/C++23), excellent knowledge of computer networking and network programming, Linux, multithreading, messaging systems, databases and Docker.

n

The candidate should be comfortable working on complex, communication-intensive systems and troubleshooting production issues across software, networking and distributed services.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable and production-grade applications using C++20/C++23.
n
- Develop software and services for Embedded Linux platforms.
n
- Design and implement reliable communication using TCP/IP, socket programming, MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS and REST APIs.
n
- Develop and maintain multithreaded and concurrent applications.
n
- Work with messaging and communication frameworks such as NATS, MQTT and Azure IoT Hub.
n




- Implement reliable communication mechanisms including timeouts, retries, reconnection and error handling.
n
- Develop software for communication with hardware devices and external systems.
n
- Work with PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB and integrate databases with C++ applications.
n
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker.
n
- Debug complex application, networking, concurrency and runtime issues in Linux environments.
n
- Analyze logs, core dumps and system behavior to identify and resolve production issues.
n
- Participate in software architecture, design and technical discussions.
n
- Perform code reviews and contribute to improving code quality, reliability and maintainability.
n
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, cloud and other software teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Valuable to Have

- Experience in Embedded Systems, Automotive, EV or Energy Systems.
n
- Experience working with hardware communication protocols.
n
- Knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD, RS485, Modbus or similar protocols.
n
- Experience with Azure/AWS or other cloud platforms.
n
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Experience with performance optimization and low-level debugging.
n
- Understanding of distributed and microservice-based architectures.
