Physiotherapist Job DescriptionA Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical movement problems, pain, injuries, and mobility limitations. The role focuses on improving patients’ strength, flexibility, mobility, and overall quality of life through personalized treatment and rehabilitation programs.Key ResponsibilitiesQualificationsSkills
Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide physiotherapy treatments such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching, and mobility training.
Treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, or musculoskeletal problems.
Monitor patients’ progress and modify treatment plans when necessary.
Educate patients and caregivers about exercises, posture, injury prevention, and home-care programs.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare specialists.
Ensure appropriate use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
Follow clinical, safety,



and infection-control standards.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
Valid registration with the relevant skilled/medical authority, where applicable.
Valuable knowledge of anatomy, physiology, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team.
Previous clinical experience is preferred but may not be required for entry-level positions.
