We are looking for an experienced HIM & Coding leader to lead large-scale coding operations, ensure coding quality and compliance, and drive operational excellence across Health Information Management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end HIM coding operations , including coding quality, productivity, accuracy, compliance and SLAs.
/n
Manage and develop large coding teams and coding leadership.
/n
Drive process improvement, operational efficiency and transformation initiatives.
/n
Oversee coding backlogs, unbilled accounts, data quality and performance reporting.
/n
Partner with key stakeholders on coding, CDI, A/R and operational performance.
/n
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, coding guidelines and compliance standards.
/n
Drive continuous improvement,



innovation and best practices across HIM operations.
/n

Ideal Profile

/n

/n
8+ years of recent acute-care HIM experience , with solid inpatient and outpatient coding exposure.
/n
5+ years of healthcare management/leadership experience.
/n
Experience managing a large coding/coding reviewer pool .
/n
Robust knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS, APC and MS-DRG .
/n
Experience in process transformation, shared services, reengineering or change management is preferred.
/n
RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS certification required.
/n
Robust leadership, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
/n
