Role Description This is a full-time, in office Purchase cum Accountant role located in Maharashtra, India. The role involves managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials.

The Purchase cum Accountant will maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and vendor payments, while supporting budgeting and cost control. Daily responsibilities also include handling accounts payable and receivable, recording transactions, reconciling ledgers and bank statements, and assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting. The role requires close coordination with operations, stores,



and management to ensure compliance with company policies and adherence to statutory and tax requirements.

Qualifications
Solid skills in basic accounting, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
Ability to manage purchasing processes, including vendor coordination, quotation comparison, and purchase order preparation.
Proficiency in using accounting and ERP or inventory software, as well as MS Excel and other standard office applications.
Knowledge of Indian taxation and compliance relevant to purchases and accounting (e.g., GST, TDS) is preferred.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills for handling documentation and records.
Effective communication and negotiation skills for interacting with vendors, internal teams, and management.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a quick-paced industrial environment.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant experience in purchasing and accounting in an engineering or manufacturing setup is an advantage.
