About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to protect product quality across functional, API, integration and regression testing. You will understand end-to-end workflows, prepare and execute test plans, identify product risks and provide explicit evidence for release decisions in close collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities
Plan and execute functional, integration and regression testing.
Test REST APIs using Postman or equivalent tools.
Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
Validate end-to-end business workflows and release candidates.
Report defects with clear steps, evidence, severity and business impact.
Track defects through verification and closure.
Use SQL to prepare test data and validate system behaviour.
Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to clarify requirements.
Communicate release quality, residual risk and readiness.

What success looks like




Own release-validation activities and maintain reliable regression coverage.
Identify functional, integration and usability issues before release.
Understand user journeys and system dependencies, not only individual screens.
Produce clear, reproducible and actionable defect reports.
Advocate for quality while working constructively with the delivery team.

Required skills
Hands-on manual and functional testing experience.
Test-case and scenario design.
API testing and REST concepts.
Bug tracking using Jira or a similar tool.
Test execution, evidence collection and reporting.
Basic SQL.
Positive understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Test automation exposure.
Mobile application testing.
Performance testing fundamentals.
