We are looking for a QA Testing Consultant with manual testing experience to support application testing, defect validation, and quality assurance activities.

This role will be contract/consultant based

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand actor flows, business requirements, and functional modules.
Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Perform manual functional, UI, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
Identify, document, and track bugs with explicit steps to reproduce.
Validate bug fixes provided by the development team.
Ensure features are tested properly before UAT and production release.
Coordinate with developers, business users, and project stakeholders.
Maintain test evidence, reports, and regular QA status updates.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES




2 years of experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA processes
Ability to write explicit test cases and defect reports
Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar tools
Basic API testing knowledge using Postman is preferred
Valuable communication, documentation, and attention to detail
Experience in insurance, finance, or enterprise application testing
Basic understanding of database validation
Experience supporting UAT and release testing
