Sarvoham is looking for a Manager - Digital Storytelling & Community Outreach who genuinely believes in compassion, animal welfare, animal rights, and responsible people relationships.

This is not a desk-only role. Our Communications, Marketing & Outreach team must understand the realities of working in an animal shelter and be willing to step onto the ground whenever required pro-actively.

We are looking for someone who:
Is vegan or open to transitioning to veganism, and genuinely understands the ethical principles behind welfare of the animals.
Genuinely cares about all animals and all species, not only dogs, and believes animals deserve compassion, dignity, freedom from cruelty, and protection from exploitation.
Is willing to actively advocate for animal rights and welfare, both within and outside the organization.
Is willing to be hands-on with shelter operations and participate in or support activities such as animal rescues, animal handling, bathing, feeding, walking, cleaning kennels,



maintaining hygiene, enrichment, transportation, and basic shelter upkeep.
Is willing to work alongside animal caretakers, rescuers, veterinarians, volunteers, and frontline teams, and understands and respects the challenges they face.
Can respond calmly and responsibly during animal emergencies, rescue situations, difficult cases, injuries, conflicts, and other high-pressure shelter situations.
Is willing to understand the complete animal-care cycle, from rescue and admission to treatment, rehabilitation, enrichment, adoption, foster care, and end-of-life care where necessary.
Believes employees working in animal welfare deserve empathy, dignity, fairness, psychological safety, accountability, and solid leadership, while being capable of holding people accountable without losing compassion and humanity.
