Manager – Automotive Software Sales

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Automotive Software Sales / Business Development professional with a strong network across Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience selling automotive engineering services, embedded software, digital engineering, validation, or consulting solutions, along with a solid understanding of next-generation automotive technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Drive current business development, revenue growth, and account expansion across Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
Build and manage relationships with Engineering, R&D;, Program, Technology, and Procurement stakeholders.
Generate and convert opportunities for automotive software and engineering services.
Own the sales cycle from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Develop strategic account plans and identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.




Partner with technical and delivery teams to create customer-specific solutions and proposals.
Track automotive technology trends and identify opportunities around SDV, EV, ADAS, Connected Vehicles, and Embedded Software.

Required Skills
7–9 years of experience in Automotive Engineering Services Sales / Software Sales / Business Development / Key Account Management.
Solid OEM and Tier-1 customer network, particularly in West India.
Experience selling engineering services, embedded software, digital engineering, validation, or consulting solutions.
Good understanding of one or more:
Software Defined Vehicle (SDV)
Embedded Automotive Software
AUTOSAR
ADAS / Autonomous Driving
EV / Electrification
BMS / VCU / Powertrain Software
Functional Safety
Automotive Cyber Security
Connected Vehicle / OTA
Strong hunter mindset, commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and executive-level relationship management.
