We are looking for a detail-oriented Executive / Senior Executive – Finance (Tax & Payroll) to join the Finance & Compliance team at a rapid-growing D2C / E-commerce company
The role will be responsible for direct tax, GST, payroll statutory compliance and broader regulatory requirements, with solid hands-on ownership of statutory filings, reconciliations, audits and compliance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Tax Compliance
Handle TDS/TCS computation, deduction and timely deposits.
Prepare and file 24Q, 26Q & 27EQ returns and issue Form 16/16A.
Support advance tax, corporate income tax returns and tax audit/Form 3CD.
Maintain 26AS/AIS reconciliations.
Support transfer pricing compliance wherever applicable.
GST Compliance
Manage end-to-end GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C and e-invoicing.
Handle e-commerce-specific GST/TCS requirements, including Section 52.
Perform GSTR-2B / ITC reconciliation and vendor follow-ups.
Monitor state-wise GST registrations and compliance.
Support GST audits, assessments and departmental queries.
Payroll Compliance
Ensure statutory compliance for PF, ESI, Skilled Tax, Labour Welfare Fund and Gratuity.
Handle salary TDS under Section 192, Form 12BA and Form 16.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws.
Coordinate PF/ESI inspections and labour department queries.
Maintain payroll statutory compliance trackers and registers.
General Compliance
Coordinate with Finance, HR, Legal, auditors and tax consultants.
Maintain compliance calendars, documentation and audit trails.
Independently manage tax/GST/payroll compliance, audits and notices.
Review monthly/quarterly statutory filings before submission.
Required Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / Bachelor's or Master's in Commerce, Acc
