We are looking for a compassionate and skilled School Nurse to join our dedicated team at Samashti International School, Kollur.

She will play a crucial role in providing medical care, promoting health education and ensuring the safety of our students and staff.

This position requires solid clinical skills, excellent communication abilities and a commitment to the well-being of our school community.

Responsibilities
Provide primary healthcare services to students, including assessment and treatment of injuries and illnesses
Administer medications and monitor individual health conditions according to physician's orders and school policies
Maintain accurate and updated medical records for each student, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to promote health education, develop comprehensive health and wellness programs, and address individual student needs
Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and protocols
Conduct health screenings, vaccinations,



and other health-related assessments as required
Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, such as hygiene, nutrition, and prevention of communicable diseases
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care and support

Requirements:
B.Sc Nursing with RN (Registered Nurse) and valid license to practice as a nurse
Previous experience working as a School Nurse or in a similar healthcare setting is preferred
Solid clinical skills, with the ability to assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, teachers, and medical specialists
Knowledge of health promotion and wellness strategies
Proficiency in administering medications, including proper dosage calculation and documentation
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential me
