Requirements and skills
Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager, Agent or Officer
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
Master's degree in a related field preferred
Prior experience working in the purchasing department in the same industry required
Robust understanding of the market conditions and trends
Working knowledge of negotiation techniques in the industry
