The Anaesthetist will provide high-quality anaesthetic care, including preoperative assessment, administration of general and regional anaesthesia, and postoperative pain management. You will serve as a vital member of the surgical team, ensuring patient stability and responding to medical emergencies across various hospital departments, including the Operating Theatre, ICU, and Labor & Delivery.
Key Responsibilities1. Perioperative Care
Preoperative Assessment: Evaluate patients’ medical histories, physical conditions, and lab results to determine the safest anaesthesia plan.
Patient Counseling: Explain the risks and advantages of different types of anaesthesia and obtain informed consent.
Intraoperative Monitoring: Closely monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and body temperature) during surgery.
Postoperative Recovery:
Oversee the patient's transition from anaesthesia to consciousness and manage immediate postoperative pain or complications.
Clinical Procedures
Administer various forms of anaesthesia, including General, Regional (e.g., epidurals, spinal blocks), and Localsedation.
Perform advanced airway management, including endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation.
Manage fluid resuscitation and blood transfusions during major trauma or high-blood-loss surgeries.
Specialized & Emergency Support
Provide obstetric anaesthesia (epidurals) for patients in labor.
Respond to cardiac arrest or respiratory failure as a key member of the hospital’s resuscitation team.
Assist in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for patients requiring long-term sedation or life support.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
