Role Description

This is a full time, in office role located in Chennai for an Investment Strategist. The Investment Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies, managing investment portfolios, conducting financial and quantitative analysis, and leveraging data-driven insights to support investment decisions.

Day-to-day tasks include mutual fund research, monitoring market trends, assessing investment opportunities, performing data analysis using programming tools,



and providing strategic investment advice to clients. The role also involves collaborating with other team members to enhance investment strategies, automate reporting processes, and ensure optimal portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on mutual funds, including fund objectives, strategies, holdings, and risk-return profiles.
Analyze performance metrics of various mutual funds across asset classes and investment styles using quantitative and statistical techniques.
Utilize programming languages such as Python or R for financial modeling, data analysis, and performance evaluation.
Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools using Excel (advanced functions, VBA), Python, or BI tools.
Work with large financial datasets to clean, structure, and analyze investment-related data.
Build basic financial models for return forecasting, portfolio optimization, and risk assessment.
