Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the assigned discipline.
Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
Employ effective and cutting-edge teaching methods.
Supervise student research, theses, dissertations, or capstone projects.
Mentor undergraduate and graduate students.

Research and Scholarship
Conduct independent and team-oriented research or creative work.
Publish in peer-reviewed journals, books, or equivalent scholarly outlets.
Secure external or internal research funding, where applicable.
Present research at academic conferences and qualified meetings.
Maintain an active, recognized research agenda.

Preferred Qualifications:
PhD or equivalent terminal degree in the relevant field (completed or near completion by start date).
Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Postdoctoral experience or prior teaching experience at the university level.
Evidence of scholarly publications or research in progress.
Experience with grant writing or funded research projects.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and service.
