Job Summary: As a cashier in our hospitality establishment, you will be responsible for processing all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will ensure a positive guest experience through friendly interaction and prompt service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and direct them to their desired products or services.
Provide information on prices, discounts, and special promotions.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.

Transaction Processing:
Operate electronic cash registers and POS systems to process payments.
Ensure accurate pricing of all items through scanning or manual entry.
Calculate total payments received during transactions and reconcile with total sales.

Cash Handling:
Receive payments in cash, credit, or debit cards and issue receipts.
Ensure proper handling of cash and secure payments according to company policies.




Count cash in the register at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure amounts are correct and report any discrepancies.

Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of transactions and daily financial activities.
Prepare daily reconciliation reports and submit them to the accounting department.
Assist in inventory management by recording stock levels and notifying management of low inventory.

Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of customer service and transactions.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cashier in a hospitality workplace or similar role.
Proficient in using electronic cash registers and POS systems.
Solid numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
