Job Description — Accounts Executive

Location: Kolkata | Reporting to: Accounts Manager

Role Objective

To support the finance function through accurate accounting, transaction processing and compliance support — ensuring smooth, well-documented day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Prepare and track invoices, payments and collections
Assist in GST, TDS and other compliance filings
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations




Maintain proper documentation and records of all transactions
Support in monthly closing and MIS preparation
Coordinate with internal teams for data and documentation

Key Result Areas
Accuracy and timeliness of all accounting entries
Proper maintenance of books and records
Timely processing of payments and invoices
Support in smooth month-end closure
Compliance-related data readiness at all times
Degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce
Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience
Prior exposure to a manufacturing setting preferred
Working knowledge of GST, TDS and basic compliance requirements
Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems

Someone with solid attention to detail, a sense of ownership over their work, and the ability to operate in a quick-paced manufacturing setup. You should be comfortable coordinating across teams and getting things done without being chased.
