Responsible for operating pig casting machines and handling molten iron safely to ensure quality production as per targets.
Key Responsibilities
Operate pig casting machine / pig bed system
Handle molten iron pouring into molds safely
Monitor casting speed, temperature & flow
Ensure proper cooling and solidification
Manage pig iron discharge and stacking
Perform basic machine checks & cleaning
Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns
Follow strict safety protocols (PPE, SOPs)
Maintain shift production records
Skills Required
Knowledge of casting / foundry operations
Experience in high-temperature metal handling
Basic machine operation & troubleshooting
