A System Administrator (SysAdmin) ensures an organization's IT infrastructure—servers, networks, and computer systems—runs securely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
System Maintenance: Install, upgrade, and configure software and hardware, including operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
Network Administration: Ensure network infrastructure is operational, managing firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, often addressing helpdesk tickets.
Security & Compliance: Implement security protocols, manage user accounts/permissions, and oversee data backup and recovery plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:



Previous experience in system administration, IT support, or a related role.
Problem-Solving: Solid analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Typical Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/Diplome in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
Relevant qualified experience and industry certifications.
