Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to design and execute detailed test plans and test cases
Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
Design test approach, Develop Test Strategies and Plans. Align test cases to requirements and user stories.
Validate workflows across key financial areas such as:
Work closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented
Raise, track, and validate defects using tools such as JIRA, and Jira plug-ins like Z-Ray or Zephyr TestRail, or HP ALM
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data and guiding business users
Ensure traceability between test cases and business requirements for full coverage
Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits and compliance purposes
Client Account Onboarding / Servicing
Financial Planning
Portfolio Management
Trading (Mutual Funds, GICs, stocks, etc.)
Reporting & Taxation
Account Fee Billing
Regulatory Compliance





Required Skills:
Robust experience in manual functional testing
Proficiency in writing test cases, test scenarios, and maintaining test documentation
Experience with tools such as JIRA and Jira plug-ins like Z-Ray or Zephyr
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices
Knowledge of financial systems and workflows, particularly in: Wealth Management Financial Planning & Advisory Services Trading Operations Client Reporting & Taxation Billing & Compliance

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
Familiarity with SQL for backend and data validation
Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills
