Procure raw materials such as MS, SS, aluminum sheets, pipes, angles, channels, fittings, fasteners, welding consumables, and fabrication-related items.
Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate favorable terms.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
Monitor material delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers.
Coordinate with production, stores, and project teams to understand material requirements.
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
Ensure quality, quantity, and specifications of purchased materials meet company requirements.
Track inventory levels and initiate timely procurement to avoid production delays.
Analyze market trends and pricing to achieve cost savings.
Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, delivery, and payments.
Prepare periodic purchase reports and MIS reports.
