Job Summary
The role demands a solid HR business partner who can work closely with plant leadership to build a productive workforce, maintain harmonious industrial relations, and drive organizational performance through effective people management.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Business Partnering
Partner with the Plant Head and functional leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Develop and implement people strategies that support operational excellence and workforce productivity.
Act as a trusted advisor to plant leadership on HR-related matters.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Lead end-to-end recruitment for plant, production, maintenance, engineering, quality, warehouse, and support functions.
Develop manpower plans in line with production requirements.
Coordinate with department heads to ensure timely hiring and workforce availability.
Manage contract labour recruitment through approved manpower vendors.
Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
Maintain healthy employee and industrial relations across the plant.
Resolve employee grievances through effective counselling and conflict resolution.
Liaise with employee representatives, labour unions, and statutory authorities whenever required.
Support collective bargaining activities where applicable.
Foster a positive and compliant work setting.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations, including:
Factories Act
Industrial Relations Code
Shops & Establishments Act (where applicable)
EPF
ESI
Payment of Wages Act
Payment of Bonus Act
Payment of Gratuity Act
Minimum Wages Act
Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
POSH Act
Coordinate statutory inspections and audits.
Maintain all statutory registers, records, and documentation.
HR Operations
Manage employee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
