Job description:
Role Objective:
To ensure accurate and competitive product pricing by analyzing cost structures, monitoring market trends, and maintaining pricing discipline to support profitability and business growth.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Pricing Strategy & Structure:
Develop pricing models (cost-based, market-based, value-based).
Define pricing structures for different products and customer segments.
Maintain pricing policies and discount guidelines.
Cost Analysis & Coordinationt:
Work closely with Finance, Production, and Purchase teams for cost inputs.
Analyze raw material cost, conversion cost, and overheads.
Ensure accuracy of product costing for pricing decisions.
Price Revision & Control:
Review and update prices based on RM fluctuations and market trends.
Maintain updated price lists with proper version control.
Ensure timely price revisions as per company policy.
Margin Monitoring & Control:
Track actual vs planned margins.
Identify margin leakages and deviations.
Suggest corrective actions to improve profitability.
Sales Support & Quotation Management:
Provide timely pricing support to Sales team.
Prepare and validate quotations as per company guidelines.
Ensure quick turnaround time for pricing requests.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
Analyze competitor pricing and market trends.
Benchmark product pricing with industry standards.
Support strategic pricing decisions based on data insights.
