Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies for civil construction projects.
Source and procure cement, steel, aggregates, MEP materials, finishing items, hardware, and construction equipment.
Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and maintain approved vendor lists.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.
Prepare and process RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders, and work orders.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, stores, and finance teams.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Track supplier performance and ensure on-time deliveries.
Ensure procurement complies with company policies and project specifications.
Maintain procurement records, purchase reports, and MIS.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or MBA in Procurement/Supply Chain preferred.

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes.




Vendor management and contract negotiation.
Cost estimation and budget control.
Inventory and supply chain management.
Knowledge of GST, purchase documentation, and commercial terms.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Software Skills
ERP (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent)
Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
Microsoft Word
Microsoft PowerPoint
AutoCAD (Basic understanding preferred)
