Mathematics Faculty - Foundation (Classes 6 to 10)
Job Summary
The Mathematics Faculty will be responsible for building a strong conceptual foundation in Mathematics for students of Classes 6 to 10, with a focus on preparing them for future competitive examinations such as JEE, Olympiads, NTSE (where applicable), and other aptitude-based exams. The faculty member should inspire logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in Mathematics through engaging and student-centric teaching methods.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics to students of Classes 6 to 10 following the institute’s curriculum.
Build solid conceptual understanding and analytical thinking rather than rote learning.
Prepare students for school examinations, scholarship exams, Olympiads, and Foundation-level competitive exams.
Conduct regular doubt-solving sessions and revision classes.
Ensure timely completion of the syllabus as per the academic calendar.
Content Development
Prepare lesson plans before each session.
Develop Daily Practice Problems (DPPs), worksheets, assignments, and homework.
Create chapter-wise tests, unit tests, and full-length mock examinations.
Prepare concise revision notes and formula sheets.
Student Assessment & Mentoring
Evaluate assignments, tests, and answer sheets promptly.
Track individual student progress and maintain performance records.
Identify weak areas and provide personalized guidance.
Counsel students on study techniques, time management, and exam strategies.
Motivate students to develop consistency and confidence in Mathematics.
Classroom Management
Maintain an interactive, disciplined, and positive learning workplace.
Encourage active participation and team-oriented problem-solving.
Foster curiosity and logical reasoning through classroom discussions and activities.
Parent & Institute Coordination
Share periodic academic updates with parents.
