About the Role

Experience in sheet metal fabrication and related manufacturing processes will be considered a robust advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily shop floor production activities.
Effectively allocate daily production jobs and manpower based on priority and capacity.
Monitor progress of ongoing jobs and ensure adherence to production schedules.
Assess productivity, workmanship, and efficiency of operators and technicians.
Coordinate with Planning, Design, Quality, Stores, and Maintenance departments.
Ensure proper utilization of machines, tools, materials, and manpower.
Monitor fabrication, welding, assembly, and finishing activities.
Ensure production targets are achieved within timeline and quality requirements.
Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
Maintain production records, reports, and shift handover documentation.
Enforce workplace discipline,



safety practices, and 5S standards.
Train and guide shop floor workers and junior staff.
Ensure smooth shift operations and workforce coordination.

Required Skills:
Strong people management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and manage shop floor teams effectively.
Good understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Solid planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to assess workload and prioritize production activities.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Basic computer knowledge including MS Excel and ERP systems.
