Job Summary

The Account Head will be responsible for managing the overall finance and accounting operations of the organization, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic financial planning within the diamond/jewellery business.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation)
Manage inventory accounting for diamonds, jewellery, and precious stones
Ensure accurate costing, valuation, and stock reconciliation:
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance:
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow reports:
Coordinate with auditors (internal & external) and manage audits
Monitor and control company budgets and expenses:
Supervise and guide the accounts team:
Manage export-import documentation & financial transactions (if applicable)
Ensure compliance with diamond industry regulations and financial practices

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com),



CA / Inter CA preferred
Strong knowledge of GST, Tally/ERP systems, and financial reporting:
Experience in diamond/jewellery industry accounting is mandatory:
Positive understanding of inventory-heavy business models:
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Experience
Experience working with diamond trading, manufacturing, or retail companies:
Knowledge of export billing, foreign transactions, and currency handling:
Familiarity with lab-grown diamond business operations
