Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
Work across entire software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment and handover to support teams.
Be part of the cloud adoption journey.
Build out and enhance various environments.
Manage requirements, specifications, and design documents.
Handle release and stakeholder management.
Implement test automation.
Involved in L3 support for Production environments.

Essential Skills
Strong analytical development skills, solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
Strong development experience in Java and public cloud offering.
Comfortable working with Linux based environments and having good knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
A strong passion for infrastructure as code and associated automation and provisioning tools like Terraform, Ansible etc.
Good understanding of CI/CD pipeline build, improvement and management.
Experience with GIT, Jira, Confluence, Wiki.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.





Preferred Skills- Experience working in a team with a robust software development process (build, test, deploy).
Knowledge of KDB/q is a plus.
Preferred experience in Cloud Infrastructure and related technologies.
Valuable understanding of FIX and other financial messaging protocols is preferred.
