Job Profile:
Lead the design, assessment, and strengthening of ambient air quality monitoring networks across Uttar Pradesh.
Provide technical guidance on CAAQMS, source monitoring systems, and QA/QC protocols.
Analyze air quality data and prepare technical reports, policy briefs, dashboards, and recommendations.
Support emission inventories, source apportionment studies, and airshed management initiatives.
Develop SOPs, monitoring frameworks, and technical guidelines.
Support integration of monitoring data into decision-support systems and air quality management platforms.
Coordinate with UPPCB, Directorate of Workplace, Urban Local Bodies, and other relevant departments.
Work closely with the UPCAMP PMU and implementing agencies to support planning, monitoring, reporting, and implementation of project activities.
Conduct capacity-building programme and technical trainings for government officials and stakeholders.
Any other tasks as assigned by CEO, UPCAMP AUTHORITY

Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering
Environmental Science
Atmospheric Science
Air Pollution Control
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
or related disciplines especially Air quality modeling using AI-ML.
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in air quality monitoring and air pollution management.

Preferrable: Prior experience working with Government Departments and Agencies in Uttar Pradesh. Experience in NCAP- airshed management
