Job Description: Montessori Assistant TeacherPosition Overview

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Montessori Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in creating a secure, nurturing, and engaging Montessori learning environment. No prior Montessori experience is required. Comprehensive Montessori training and ongoing professional development will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing and maintaining the Montessori classroom.
Support children in their daily routines while encouraging independence and self-confidence.
Observe and guide children respectfully according to Montessori principles.
Prepare, organize, clean, and maintain Montessori learning materials.
Help supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and inviting classroom environment.
Support children with grace, courtesy, and positive behavior guidance.
Assist with classroom displays, learning materials, and activity preparation.




Communicate respectfully and professionally with colleagues and parents when required.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Follow all school policies, health, hygiene, and child safety procedures.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualification: Intermediate (10+2) or a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Passion for working with young children.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, caring, reliable, and willing to learn.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Basic English communication skills are preferred.
