Company Description Rugged Solar Products Pvt Ltd, based in Bengaluru, India, manufactures RUGGEDSOLAR® photovoltaic panels, charge controllers, LED lighting systems, electronic components, and complete solar systems. Founded in 2017, the company serves customers worldwide with a strong emphasis on quality and reliable service. RUGGEDSOLAR® modules are engineered to be thinner, lighter, and stronger than conventional glass-laminated solar panels, while remaining waterproof, vibration-resistant, and durable against mild impact. These products are designed for demanding environments such as military, marine, oil and gas, and industrial applications. The production facility is located in Apparel Park, Phase-1, Doddaballapura, Karnataka, and welcomes visitors.

Role Description The Business Development Manager role is a full time, in office position based in Bengaluru.



The role involves identifying and pursuing new business prospects, building and maintaining relationships with key customers and partners, and expanding market presence for RUGGEDSOLAR® products across domestic and international markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing sales strategies, cold calling, sharing proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal teams such as engineering, production, and customer support to ensure successful project delivery. The Business Development Manager will track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product positioning and growth initiatives, while meeting defined sales and revenue targets.
