Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Sales & Marketing qualified with strong exposure to the steel manufacturing industry to drive regional sales growth, manage key accounts, and strengthen market presence across North & Central Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies for steel products (TMT bars, billets, sponge iron, structural steel, etc.)
Drive B2B and channel sales across Karnataka and neighboring regions
Manage and grow dealer, distributor, and institutional client networks
Handle key accounts, large industrial buyers, EPC contractors, and infrastructure clients
Forecast sales, prepare annual budgets, and achieve volume & revenue targets
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
Coordinate with plant operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team
Represent the company in trade meets, industry events, and client negotiations

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
10–15 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the steel / metal / heavy industry




Solid understanding of steel products, pricing, and market dynamics
Proven experience in dealer management and institutional sales
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
Experience handling Karnataka markets, especially Bellary, Hosapete, Devanagari and Hubli / nearby industrial area
Six-sigma belt preferred
Ability to travel extensively within the region

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Marketing
MBA (Sales & Marketing) is an added advantage

Preferred Candidate Profile
Background from steel plants, rolling mills, or integrated steel manufacturers
Strong local market knowledge and established industry connections
Results-driven, strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
