Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Airport Ground Staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to passengers and flight crew, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the airport.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and baggage handling procedures
Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations
Monitor and control the flow of passengers through the airport
Provide information and assistance to passengers regarding flight schedules, delays, and other inquiries
Coordinate with other airport staff to ensure timely and productive departure of flights
Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a skilled and timely manner
Assist in the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo
Conduct security checks and screenings as per airport regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the airport terminal
Handle any other duties as assigned by the Airport Manager
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service or the aviation industry is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge of local languages and cultures is an asset
